The IQ Arion app
Measure, compete and come back every day: an adaptive IQ test, duels against players worldwide and a new puzzle each day. No ads. Free to play.
Coming soon to the App Store and Google Play
A test built to measure
The test adapts to you: after each answer it picks the difficulty of the next question, and it stops once the margin of error is small enough.
- 01About 30–40 questions in four areas while we calibrate, about 30 minutes, no timer on each question
- 02An estimated score on the IQ scale with a 90% confidence interval and your percentile, based on beta norms – not a clinical assessment
- 03A profile of your four areas and a short profile text
- 04A certificate with a QR code that anyone can verify
You can also take the test on the website and open the result in the app with a code.Take the IQ test on the web
Unlock your result in one of two ways
Taking the test is free. To see your score and certificate, choose one:

Invite a friend
Share your invite link. When a friend you invite finishes the test in the IQ Arion app, your result unlocks – or unlock it right away with a purchase.
In-app purchase
Or unlock it right away
An in-app purchase through the App Store or Google Play. The price is shown in the app before you buy.
Even before you unlock it, you see that you finished, how many questions you answered and the area where you felt most at home.
Duels with the whole world
The puzzles need no language, so a player in Tokyo and one in Istanbul solve the same question on equal terms. Every question has a 45-second limit and allows one answer.
Live duel
You both start at the same moment. Whoever solves a question correctly first takes the point; the first to 3 points wins. If it is still level after five questions, one deciding question follows. A duel lasts two to four minutes.
First to 35 questions + a decider
The Ladder
Challenge someone and climb at your own pace. You both get the same questions, each a little harder than the last. One wrong answer ends your climb; whoever climbs higher wins.

Arion AI
If no one at your level is online after about 20 seconds, Arion AI steps in. It is always labelled as AI, solves a little slower than people at your level and gets harder as you improve.
Always labelledadapts to your level
In duels you see your opponent's IQ and league badge, and they see yours. For players aged 13 to 17, only a ten-point range is shown, for example 110–119.
A reason to come back
Short, daily and fair: skill decides the rankings, never money.
01Puzzle of the day
The same five puzzles for everyone, from easy to hard, and a result card you can share without giving the answers away. Keep your streak going.
02Leaderboards
Two rankings: Arion Points from duels and daily puzzles, by season, worldwide and by country – and an optional IQ leaderboard under your nickname.
03Weekly cup
Every Monday, players with the same league badge are grouped by 30. The week's top three earn a badge.
Privacy and AI
No ads. Free to play.
The app shows no ads, and the test, duels, daily puzzles and leaderboards are free to play. Test results and certificates unlock in the app when a friend you invite finishes the test there, or with an in-app purchase. Money never buys an advantage in duels or rankings.
AboutLittle data, in your hands
You sign in with Apple, Google or a one-time code sent to your email – no password. We ask for a nickname, your year of birth and your country; a display name is optional. You can download or delete everything at any time.
PrivacyAbout the AI parts
Your score comes from a fixed measurement model, never from AI. Claude (by Anthropic) writes the short profile text from anonymous numbers only. Arion AI is not a chatbot: it is our own puzzle solver, with human-like timing.
How scoring worksQuestions and answers
Is this an official IQ test?
No. IQ Arion gives an estimated score on the IQ scale, with a confidence interval, based on beta norms from the research literature rather than a representative norm study. It is not a clinical assessment and must not be used for medical, psychological, educational or hiring decisions.
How is my score calculated?
The test adapts to your answers, and a fixed measurement model turns them into an estimate: the same answers always give the same score. Our norms are in a beta period, and scores are marked accordingly. Scores are shown between 55 and 160; beyond that range, as “≤ 55” or “≥ 160”. AI never decides your score.
How do I unlock my result?
In one of two ways: when a friend you invite finishes the test in the IQ Arion app, your result unlocks – or unlock it right away with an in-app purchase. Your friend unlocks their own result the same way.
Can I take the test on the website?
Yes. On the IQ test page you take the same adaptive test without an account. When you finish, you sign in with Google and the test is saved to your account – the website never shows the score. Download the app and sign in with the same Google account to see it. Using Apple or email in the app instead? The end screen also gives an 8-character code (valid for 30 days) that you add in the app. Like every test in the app, the result unlocks when a friend you invite finishes the test in the app – or right away with an in-app purchase.
What does the app cost?
The test, duels, daily puzzles and leaderboards are free, with no ads. The only purchase is optional: unlocking a test's full result and certificate – which also unlocks at no cost when a friend you invite finishes the test in the IQ Arion app.
What is Arion AI?
An AI opponent that steps in when no human player at your level is online after about 20 seconds. It is always clearly labelled, picks questions that fit your level and answers a little slower than people at your level usually do – so playing fast and accurately beats it.
Can other players see my IQ?
In duels, yes: your opponent sees your IQ and league badge. For players aged 13 to 17, a ten-point range is shown instead, for example 110–119. Joining the IQ leaderboard is optional, and you appear under your nickname.
Do I need an account?
For the app, yes: you sign in with Apple, Google or a one-time code sent to your email. Other players see the nickname you choose and, if you set one, your display name – it can be your real name, so you can change or remove it at any time. You can delete your account at any time.
Can I take the test again?
Your first complete attempt is your main result. After six months you can take the test again with different questions; that result is labelled as a retest.
Who can use the app?
Anyone aged 13 or older. Where EU law requires it, players below the age of digital consent need a parent's approval before they can play duels and join leaderboards.
